Linyana Fleming, MSOM, L.Ac.
Linyana’s greatest passion is helping people feel better in their bodies and their lives. Linyana is compassionate and understands the complexities and challenges patients experience with their health. She whole-heartedly believes wellness can be achieved with the right support and guidance.
Linyana enjoy’s working with all patients and all backgrounds, but she’s particularly passionate about helping patients who are truly seeking to change their health the natural way. She excels in meeting patients where they are in their healing journey and guiding them toward better health. She believes most people, at no fault of their own, have defaulted to living a rushed American lifestyle and eating the unhealthy standard American diet that has contributed to most diseases people suffer from today. She helps patients unlearn unhealthy habits and transition into healthy living.
Linyana grew up just like everyone else, she ate hot Cheetos, drank kool aid and never exercised. In her early 20’s, she realized life isn’t sustainable living that way. She slowly started to focus her attention on what health actually meant to her and her body, but with the intention of learning about holistic medicine, instead of mainstream medicine. Learning about natural medicine and herbs began years before enrolling in university for acupuncture studies. Linyana’s journey allows her to help patients on a deeper level because she has been through what her patients are currently going through and she has made it to the other side. She has personal experience combined with scholastic expertise.
Linyana was raised in Madison, WI and spent the majority of her adulthood in Chicago, IL. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL. She is also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. Linyana is passionate about nutrition, treating digestive issues (even the most complicated ones), autoimmune diseases, skin conditions and everything concerning women’s health. She is a newcomer of New York City, having moved to Harlem in 2017, and enjoys weight lifting, eating yummy and nutritious food, exploring the city in the summer, and talking to any and everyone about the importance of health.
